Armor Ball AQUA is the spherical floating-cover product in the AWTT family. EuroCover Water Systems supplies it in Europe for the small and irregularly-shaped water-body deployments where hexagonal modular covers aren’t the right fit.
What is Armor Ball AQUA?
Armor Ball AQUA is an AWTT spherical floating-cover element — a 100 mm UV-stabilized HDPE ball that suppresses evaporation (up to 90%), blocks sunlight for algae control, and reduces odor on small industrial water surfaces. Each ball self-ballasts via a self-filling water chamber on deployment, close-packing to 91% surface coverage with no anchoring, no tools, and no maintenance.
Use cases
- Small reservoirs under 500 m².
- Fire-suppression storage and emergency water tanks.
- Irregularly-shaped ponds where modular tessellation leaves too many gaps.
- Temporary construction-site water storage.
When to choose Armor Ball AQUA vs hexagonal modular
- Armor Ball AQUA — small surface area, irregular geometry, temporary deployment.
- Hexprotect® AQUA — reservoirs over 1,000 m², long-life industrial deployments, hurricane wind exposure.
- Hexofloat® — EU manufacturing, 3–6 week lead time, lower wind exposure.

Lead time
EuroCover confirms the exact EU lead time at project quotation, set by whether the order ships from EU stock or US manufacture.
