A geomembrane is an engineered impermeable polymer liner used in environmental containment, pond lining, and continuous floating cover applications. Geomembranes are typically supplied as welded sheets (HDPE, LLDPE, or PVC) that are seamed on-site into a single continuous barrier. As a floating cover, a geomembrane provides 100% surface coverage and supports full gas capture but requires draining for installation and anchoring against wind loads.
